ABOUT
TIFFANY.

Tiffany Townsend has been praised for her “powerhouse soprano and expressive presence” (The Wall Street Journal) and “rich voice and interpretive talent” (Bachtrack).  She is the recipient of the prestigious 2021 Richard F. Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation and has performed with organizations including Los Angeles OperaWolf Trap OperaOpera PhiladelphiaNew Jersey SymphonyOakland Symphony, and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. Having returned to Seattle Opera this summer to cover Tosca, Ms. Townsend's upcoming engagements include two performances of Crash Out Queens: A Tiffany Townsend Recital in collaboration with Long Beach Opera, in concert with Folsom Lake Symphony, and a return to the soprano solos in Verdi's Requiem with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra.

2025/26 SEASON.

Tiffany Townsend enjoys a rich and varied 2025/26 season, including a return to Seattle Opera covering the title role of Puccini's Tosca. She also performs as the soprano soloist in Verdi's Requiem with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra and joins Folsom Lake Symphony in concert. Ms. Townsend is thrilled to debut her new recital, Crash Out Queens: A Tiffany Townsend Recital, with companies including Long Beach Opera. The performance features multidisciplinary collaborators pianist Lucy Yates, in-demand dancer-choreographer Jasmine Albuquerque, and scenic designer Prairie T. Trivuth, and the repertoire highlights seven iconic female characters who span a wide expressive and musical range. Ms. Townsend looks forward to the recital's premiere and future performances.
